Appearance: Thin and lithe, Vasco is his mother's antithesis, taking only her broad shoulders as his own. His narrow, diamond-shaped face and long features can be seen as striking, if not handsome, by many.
He has a head of immaculately trimmed, dirty blonde hair and it is clear he takes great care of it, trimming and oiling and all the works.
_______________________________________________________
Equipment: Vasco's preferred weapon of choice is a special rapier that houses a thin, hollow chamber typically filled with a neurotoxin found back in their homeland. The chamber can also be filled with other substances.
________________________________________________________
Skills and Abilities: Vasco's vampiric curse can allow him to change her form into several distinct shapes: a shaggy black dog, a blackbird, and an eel.
His senses and natural strength are heightened considerably at night and gutter just as significantly during the day. He has excellent night vision that causes him to be blinded completely in the presence of the sun. Despite this, he does not burn in direct sunlight.
The Correa family's shared ability is that which to create loyal thralls without having to sire them into vampires. Thralls are created with a bite and a magical sigil. Sired vampires are created with a bite from the vampire, and then the ingestion of the vampire's blood. Thralls share a portion of the vampire's strength and can still walk freely in the sun, though with a newfound disdain for it. They are not vampires themselves but have a substantial, artificial fondness for them.

Vasco almost smiled. So she was not so naive as he first thought of her. Still so innocent and delicate, but certainly no simpleton. Csilla was smart to read his mother the way she did, and for that, he thought she would want to run, but-
"Of course not," he breathed, reaching for her hands. "You will never be alone again. If you will not leave my side, I shall not leave yours! There is too much of us that is one now." He looked into those eyes that tugged at his half-dead heart, eyes that he'd seen before so many times before. It put a palpable fear in him. How was he supposed to keep this one when he could not protect the others?
"We will need to have a plan," he told her. "We need to teach you a few things. Not change you... I do prefer you the way you are, but my mother? She prefers ladies who know their manners and skills, such as dancing and music, and you already know how to sew! I can teach you all these things. So can the children! Shall I assign one to you, Csilla? Like a Lady in Waiting."

Vasco's cold hands were gently held by Csilla as her eyes plead with him to stay. There was relief when he confirmed they'd never part if they don't want to, and the way her heart beat achingly without him around, she didn't want to. He brought up a point though... If they were to reconcile his Mother's expectations, she would need to step up to the plate.
"I'd rather learn from you, but I can't keep you away from your responsibilities all day... Perhaps a dedicated teacher would be a good idea. You'll still take time of your day to help teach me, right? Ultimately I wish to accompany you." She asked.

Vasco’s shoulders slumped in relief. Lacing his fingers through hers, he then pulled her into a firm embrace, though his brow was scrunched in thought.
Perhaps… this could work.
“Of course,” he breathed. “For every moment I am free, I will seek you out. The children are knowledgeable, but they can be harsh. I will provide you with more, ah, positive teaching. It will give us the opportunity to spend more time together, as well! Tell me, dear Csilla, what would you like to learn first?”

Csilla was surprised by how firm Vasco's embrace was, denoting the relief he likely felt. She pressed her face into his cool chest, her fingers clinging to the fabric of his back. She allowed herself to close her eyes and drink in this island of comfort in this unknown world.
This must work.
A promise she could cling to, truly they would cement each other's place in the other's heart. Her eyes opened, and her dreamy stare would have matched the rest of the Correa children. "I should start with what all good ladies learn- Etiquette. I already promised a tribute to your mother, and it will be a good opportunity to understand what would please her best." She pulled away just enough to look up to him and adding, "I shall not let you down."

Sometimes, now and again, it would scare him, how adoring the stares of his thralls were. He knew how Huey and the children looked at Maribel... but this was different! Or so he told himself. This was true love, the adoration for a savior, and he did save them for a while. It wasn't his fault mother didn't like them. It wasn't his fault what happened every time-
"You're already so well on your way," he sang, taking her hand. He pressed his palm against hers, intending to spin her, should she follow. "We simply need to lay down the grass roots: back straight, toes pointed when you walk, one foot directly in front of the other. The children were able to save some books. I shall ask them to bring some and we will balance them atop your head. It is what mother would do with the young women who she would enthrall every so often!" And mysteriously, no young men. She had an odd taste for priestesses.
Bah! This was no time to spare thoughts for his mother!
He took Csilla's hands and began to lead her around, listing all the ladylike etiquettes he'd picked up over the years, either from his previous lovers or from Maribel herself.
