Appearance: An aged man with a long beard and dark skin. He wears his resting serious expression as well as dresses himself in fine clothes, reflecting an all-too-serious regard in which he considers himself. A mid-sized turban rests upon his head.
Equipment: At all times keeps with him a saber and a dagger with a secret compartment for a poison vial in the hilt. This dagger he keeps concealed under much of his baggy clothing. He also carries with him, when no servant is able to carry it for him, a bag of scrolls and ink, with which he uses to draw up designs.
Skills and Abilities: Paşka is a man of notable intellect, having spent his years poured into the observance of ships and their construction and their impact on trade and study of logistics. His interest in this structural engineering has also led him to become interested in the design and construction of structures and some engineering.
Biography: Selim Paşka was born to succeed his father's seat as Tamilşe Bey, however, his brother seized the throne when his fatehr passed and threw the beylik into chaos. Selim, not wanting to inherit a disaster, simply gave up on it and moved to study with ambition that perhaps he could later carve out a new realm for his own, studying emerging maritime technology as a means to understand the world, and in turn, conquer his own slice of it.

The beaches of Kamsız Kıluu, a moist sub-tropical beach along the northern coast of Tamilşe Buluŋu. The Jıgaç Darıyası estuary in the east deposits silty and claylike sediments, causing many of the beaches in the area to be more silty. To the west, the beaches are lighter and more sandy, resembling the beaches of AL, US or Galveston Bay, TX, US.

After four boats arrive on the shore, the people inside immediately step out onto the dry land and begin running about on its surface. Some begin to tear up handfuls of sod in their hands just to feel dry ground again. For some, the experience is too emotional—they thought the sea would be their grave, and now to be on solid ground again—and they begin to cry and pray to their family gods. After a burst of merriment, they begin to haul supplies onto land and in short order pick up singing a classic folk tune: Tamilshic | Common | Oo, darbazalar meni jaŋı jerge alıp kelişti, Bizdin kudaylarıbızdın koldoru meerimdüü | Oh the gates have brought me to new land, Into our hands for the gods are gracious |
After some time, more boats arrive, and the original boats begin to paddle back empty to ferry more supplies.

She nodded, "I see...well, given some time, I'm sure I could prove that. However, right now I just got done begging for my life after almost drowning. I do not have the strength to prove much," she sighed looking down at her condition, "As for cleanliness, well, I kept myself clean before all this, but just about any castaway is going to be smelling of sea water in this end of the world situation...I'm not like my feral counterpart. Give ya a bloody eye if you think about calling me like that I will!" She grumbled leaning back again. Nurzat smiles, perhaps a little nervously, "Best you keep that to yourself, aye?" He reaches down to scoop up the ratperson to carry her, lifts her up, then begins to wade through the waves toward the dry lands ahead, "Folk here care much for the truthfulness of their words and honesty of their intentions. Whether you're here to stay in the end or are just seeking temporary lodging, I urge you to keep in their good graces." He sets her down on the warm, dry sand far from the shore. "At least here, you can dry." He looks up to see the same woman from the other boat before watching worriedly, "I'm afraid I've other concerns. I can't do much else—even now I worry if there will be any mercy waiting for me." Nurzat steps away toward the woman and begins to talk with her in Tamilşic. She seems very worried and an argument of sorts seems to be breaking out, with the Nurzat appearing very apologetic, nodding throughout her concerned chiding. He returns to Romsca, speaking again in common, "I must go. Gods hoping that mercy lies beyond this threshold. I will present myself as the one at fault." Without another word, he steps back to the now empty boat and begins to row it back to the larger, rather imposing ship ahead. smiles, perhaps a little nervously, "Best you keep that to yourself, aye?" Age: Ninteen
Appearance: Romsca is a ratfolk with light grey fur and a smooth light skin toned tail. Her eyes are black pupiled and her teeth are surprisingly white, which isn't a typical habit brought up by her species.
Clothing wise, her entire getup appears to be a combination of sea sail scraps and literal rope all tied up and about to cover everything up.
Equipment: A decent dagger is stashed in her clothes that she has tied up quite securely.
Skills and Abilities: Romsca is incredibly lithe and flexible being able to worm her way into amazingly tight spots. She's also devilishly clever and has a knack for getting out of tight spots and situations by keeping a clear head. Although this has been tested during her time spent in solitude on the ocean's surface being tossed about with scrapwood.
Biography: Romsca is a rat that grew up in a fishing town and was used for the manual labor and boat repairs. She was housed here until the waves washed over the town and she was forgotten.
Clinging to rotting wood, she eventually came across the Isran ship of the Depravity. She tried to climb up the side, practically begging for just a place to sleep. Unfortunately due to the rat plague they had on board, and the fact that she was quite literally just a larger rat, they promptly oiled the sides of the ship to make her slip back into the ocean.

I owe you a debt," she laid down on the sand and sighed, "Honesty is something I'm quite adapt at, the problem is people don't quite like when I am honest. Quite the pity. I don't intend to treat your admiral any more special then I do you." "But yes, I think I will just lay here until I feel better. I'll get up sometime and try and figure out how to wash this oil off soon."

Age: 19
Appearance: Her dark curly hair might seem wild, but there is a method to the madness. Every strand is carefully considered. The same can be applied to her attire, which rigidly follows the Beylik standards of beauty and propriety, while also allowing her own identity to shine through.
Equipment: Well, a lady carries her adornments. Everything else she might need is locked away in her private domiciles or carried by the male (or the male servant).
Skills and Abilities: Talking with proper manners, deep interest in sciences and mathematics.
Biography: Raised as the oldest child of a prestigious Beylik family, she was taught table manners, curtsies, music, poetry. Yet in her free time, she could not stop devouring book after book from her father's study on subjects unrelated to her expected future. Yet, upon discussions with some of the family friends, it was apparent that Aidana was more suited to academic pursuits than marriage, so after some difficult conversations, her parents gave way. When the world flooded, her studies were violently halted, but her research was just beginning.

Aidana strode ashore, cursing the choice of her footwear. The slight heels were not agreeing with the soil she was stepping into, something the long weeks on the sea had made her forget. Sighing annoyedly, she removed the footwear and carried them on her hand. She might be subject to a few looks but she did not care.
The oily, ragged, bestial thing was sprawled on the beach, chest heaving as it rested. Nobody seemed to have gone too close to it thankfully. Aidana let the onlookers give her way when she made her way near it, not too close but clearly standing prominently from the crowd.
She cleared her throat aggressively. Thinking Tamilşic would be a waste of time with this being, Aidana addressed the ratfolk in Common: “Greetings, gentle rat person. It seems you have made yourself comfortable in the land The Tamilse have claimed. May I suggest you move from here to a tent my men are preparing for you? There are things I would like you to answer.” She tried to keep a cool, even tone, but seeing this creature sprawled here without a care made her voice crack.

She then took a deep breath and got up brushing sand from her back, "I'd offer a handshake, but I think you'd probably not want to touch me right about now. Really enjoying not being dead right about now," she said looking at her in the eyes. Thankfully she'd been able to clean off the muck that'd been attached to her face. She quirked her head to the side, "I don't think I've been called 'gentle' before, so that's a new one. I guess I should give my name, I'm Romsca Sandspeak, may I ask yours?"

Nurzat rows the boat that he came in back to shore, disembarks, and drags it to shore. After he does, he tells the men and women working nearby, “Caution with this one. May no one lay a finger on this boat unless the Uruusunun Enesi Kartal, or the princes order it.” As the people acknowledge and get back to work, bringing supplies ashore and clearing ground further inland, Nurzat inhales and exhales deeply. He strides up behind Aidana and stops, with both heels and toes in line with one another, then he addresses her, bowing, “Uruusunun Enesi, I have done as you have ordered, and have directed the crews not to touch the boat. I am ready to follow any additional directions.”

It was making it hard to sustain her sour mood, which, in its way, made her even more frustrated. “We’ll hold a thorough investigation on your physique, you can bet on that. I’m sorry to hear that you’ve lived so alone. That sounds... that sounds awful.” She looked into Romsca’s black eyes. Was it just her among her kind who was like this? Noticing Nurzat had returned, Aidana gives the man a slight smile. “Nurzat, why don’t you relieve Romsca of her weapons. I’d like you to stay in the tent with her, as to control any potential diseases. There will be guards outside, in case of anything.” She gestured at the tent she had chosen for them to spend the night. “When you’re ready. I’ll make sure you will be fed. Tomorrow we'll see what we can do."

As he comes back up, whatever tension was held in his face he had resigned. Walking in even steps over the sandy ground, he approached Romsca, extending a hand, "Your blade, miss?"

Although, I don't think any of my kind made it here, never really met them before," she said with a sigh and shrug. She glanced back up and smiled nodding as she was directed to the tent. Granted when food was mentioned the rat looked shocked and dumbstruck, clearly not expecting anything to be given.

Tomorrow we'll see what we can do." Nurzat closes his eyes and bows silently to honor the order, but as he bowed, a perhaps a hint of unease hinted at the corners of his mouth. As he comes back up, whatever tension was held in his face he had resigned. Walking in even steps over the sandy ground, he approached Romsca, extending a hand, "Your blade, miss?" Romsca glanced over and handed him the blade handle first. She looked at him with black eyes not revealing much, granted they typically never did. The rat seemed to be handling the blade very carefully however.

"I will handle it with care," Nurzat replies, inspecting it carefully before removing a spare sash around his waist and wrapping it carefully in the rag. After this, he turns towards Aidana and replies, "I am ready, Eruusunun Enesi. However, I must request one oath from you before I go."

Aidana followed the exchange of arms. The ratfolk was cooperative enough, and had a certain down-to-earth charm. On her gawking, Aidana rolled her eyes. "Don't act so surprised. We don't deny our vilest criminals food." She paused, added: "I don't think you are one." and turned to Nurzat.
She raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Well, let's hear it then." Unusual of him to ask, but the least she could do was hear the man out.
