Age: Middle-years
Appearance: Zeltos has deep obsidian-toned skin that seems to genuinely consume light. His "eyes" appear to be just pools of deep rose luminescence, no real traditional eye being visible. Faint, rose-hued markings, reminiscent of constellations in the same hue as the Shard, adorned his skin. His attire - a supple leather cuirass and boots, paired with a dark tunic and leggings set off by bracers and shinguards forged from a rose-pink metal - reflected both practicality and an agile fighting style. His bald head, smooth and unadorned, did not grow hair, as was normal among his race. They were completely hairless. A glowing necklace, the Divine Shard itself, but a fragment of the Celestial Rosalith, rested on his chest, a constant reminder of his sacred duty. He is relatively short (5'6'', 168cm) and fairly slender in build, though with well-defined musculature.
Equipment: A notched sword breaker and two hook swords, all crafted from the same distinctive deep rose metal of his now lost monastery. Throwing knives and a pink metal garrote wire are concealed on his person. Often seen carrying a rough sack backpack filled with general but basic camping supplies.
Skills and Abilities: Claiming to be empowered by the Divine Shard he carries, he's often been able to do feats that seemed to exceed both human and lumenborn limitations. He's monastery trained in diverse weaponry, unarmed combat, stealth, and survival tactics. Well-versed in the ancient Divine Shard prophecies. His magical abilities are an evolving matter as his connection with the his celestial deity grows.
Biography: Zeltos Gormalan, the last lumenborn of the Rose Monastery, bears the mantle of an ancient prophecy foretelling the rise of a lumen savior who would reunite the broken deity. Raised within the monastery's hallowed halls, Zeltos was chosen as the Shard's guardian in anticipation of a foretold calamity that would usher in the convergence. It was all shrouded in a bit of mystery until a devastating flood recognized at the calamity itself. As the chosen guardian of the Divine Shard — the last fragment of a shattered deity in their world — Zeltos was swept away to the enigmatic Mistborne Isles, clutching the Shard as his guiding light.
Now, guided by the Shard's whispers, Zeltos is embarking on his sacred quest to reunite the scattered fragments of the deity, ushering his Celestial Deities light to this new and foreign land.

Howdy!
Recently moved to US Texas from across the country and I am trying to pick up the vernacular. That means saying howdy whenever possible!
Writing's my passion, but it was on the back burner for far too long. Been a while since I've dipped my toes into the forum RP scene, but I'm no stranger to it. I usually use these as a means to try and develop characters that I might use in my stories.
Avid reader of scifi/fantasy - Just finished with the Realm of the Elderlings. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good character-focused fantasy epic, though it aint necessarily for the faint of heart. Really gotta jive with the characters to enjoy it. Very interesting work with a non-binary character and honestly, identity generally. While I did absolutely love the series, I'm thinking I need maybe a lighthearted whimsical novel or series next. Maybe some Pratchett or something. (Never read Pratchett, can I call myself a fantasy fan till I do?! No, I don't know why I have not...)
Spent a few years in a high-stress job, and my health took a hit. Now that I've moved on, I'm focusing on getting back into shape - training for a marathon this year! Lost a whole person's worth of weight in the past 2 years, and I'm feeling pretty good about that.
So yeah, that's me these days: writing, books, and working out.
You guys got a cool world going here and I look forward to writing with you all!

Age: Rather rude question, don't you think?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Appearance: Often in a tight vest and oddly fabriced pants with long sleeve white shirts, sometimes with a unique gambeson. They often wear a top hat that has around it a green stash. This style of unknown by most and is very tailored towards him with his own vision. His face is almost always hidden from mask, magic, and/or more.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Equipment: His iconic cane is always by his side, always, except for when it's not. He also likes to conceal knives on his person of different variety, depending on the situation he's in or plans to be in. He also has a satchel often filled with syringes with a strange color inside them.
He also keeps a ring around a chain close to him, very close.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Skills and Abilities: Though dampened by the "bane of my life that must suffer when it falls to my knees" or commonly known as the mist, he is very well part of magic and a semi prodigy at martial tactics.
The extent of his powers are dark and ruthless, with many not even being alive who've seen his most powerful spells cast. Though the most notable things to note is that his magic is based largely around emotions, shadows, and black fire. Though he does have a huge knack for soul and eldtrich magic on top of that. But all those are hindered to extremes and other notable abilities he's once had he can no longer do.
His corruption is still very much a problem even in the mist and still has to be maintained.
His martial prowess is more or less fear tactics than actual fighting, preferring to approach with stealth then letting himself be known while he's attacking.
Biography: Long and sad.
Allegiances: Green sash, himself, others
Place of Residence: Nowhere
