Would you like to know more about magic?
🔥Campfire Seminar on Magic✨
Magic is something that has shaped many civilizations across many worlds. It holds great danger, but also great potential to make the lives of people better. The difference often lies in knowing the rules. Its rules can sometimes be obscure, especially since there are many kinds of magic, which can react with the world and with each other in seemingly very different ways.
We would like to invite you to our campfire for an informal discussion on the workings of this mysterious force. Whether you are a mage*, a former mage, a person with unusual abilities, a scholar or just curious, you are welcome. Find us by the campfire, and stay for as long as you'd like. Ask questions, share your experiences, or just listen, and hopefully find out something new and wondrous.
*or wizard, witch, runewright, shaman, wise-(wo)man, navigator, or any other preferred title
Date: X days following the Picnic, Y days following the Depravity reaching land
(hastily scribbled notes list the equivalents in Helsreach and Twin Cities calendars)
Start time: About three hours after midday (an hour after lunchtime ends at the Port Argentium Mess Hall)
Location: Go east from Port Argentium, on the shore, into the rocky tidal pool area, for about half an hour. Follow the smoke. Do not bother the octopus.🐙
In case of bad weather, an alternative location will be prepared.
Hosts: Gray and Nina
(a few of the fliers pinned in prominent locations in large towns also host detailed or rough sketches – a girl in blue clothes with beads in her hair, and a white-haired man who looks like the illustration of the antagonist in a cloak-and-dagger novel. Many of the fliers are simpler and made out of leaves.)
Additional notes:
- If unusual things have been happening to you recently (remarkable strokes of good and / or bad luck, levitating objects, animated dolls, talking plants etera caetera), you may have an affinity for magic. This is nothing to worry about, but we do recommend joining our campfire and / or talking to a magic-aware person, including our two hosts.
- For visitors from outside of Port Argentium, please find Alix Khalamat at the Community Garden for accommodation. This may be tent-based. We recommend bringing along supplies if possible.
-We would like to assure everyone that safety is one of our main concerns we do not plan on destroying the world.
-Is there anything that you would especially like to see covered, speak about or know about? Let us know!
