Appearance: He is of light blue appearance, and frothed with a glassy light that dances around his corporeal form. The fellow's arms are elongated, and larger in length then that of the average child. He has no legs, but instead a misty frothy foam swirls around his midriff keeping him afloat.
The Wisp's clothes are pieced together animal hide. He appears in a different suit of animal leather almost every time observed which implies that the creature is semi sentient. The Wisp also typically has a smooth white mask, seemingly carved from bone with two eyeholes. Why this is the case has yet to be deduced as the Wisp can see from all directions with ease.
Equipment: The physical manifestations held by the Wisp, are minimal, but are listed for viewer convenience:
One spear of unknown origin. It's made of something that has the resemblance of a sea tested dark oak, but when struck it would appear that it has a durability more comparable of that of a highly reinforced carbon steel.
The Wisp typically manifests carrying some sort of rucksack. It appears to be made of some form of animal hide, one that's particularly resistant to the mineral and plant-life build up associated with being near the Wisp. The Wisp gathers up a variety of objects, the following have been observed:
Sea Shells of Tropical Origins.
Any Scrap Metal that can be acquired.
Small Scraps of Cloth, often the skin of dead animals.
Smooth round objects of unidentified origin and make. It is also unknown how said objects are found as observation is blocked by heavy mist.
Skills and Abilities: The Wisp appears to be able to cut through reality, presumably through the use of a pocket dimension. Usage appears to be that of the staff that the Wisp carries, but the mists created anytime the Wisp moves to open the dimension obscure the opportunity.
Around him wafts a salty smell, mixed with a scent that is clearly peat moss. Within exactly one foot and eleven inches one will find small droplets of salt water manifesting on their person and clothing. Continued exposure to the affects of the Wisp will cause the formation of salt crystals and what can only be described as a variation of deep sea cave moss growing on the clothing and skin of the subject in question.
The Wisp appears to be able to create massive amounts of mist, observation reveals them to be similar to that found in the high seas.
The Wisp is above average in speed and strength, seemingly in comparison to the average High Elf. It is theorized that this is due to the fact that the Wisp does not require breathing as it has been observed to go into highly oxygen deprived places, including dangerous spelunking caves and lakes of water.
Biography: Creation a Biography of the creature is quite impossible as observation is the only means of study. It is unknown whether or not it can even speak.
Allegiances: It is unknown who the Wisp aligns itself with.

Naoki is unamused. It’s the middle of the damn night. She was asleep. They’re going to make landfall tomorrow — it’s going to be a big day, they’re going to finally get off the ship, start new on this new continent, and now this little thing is here in her damn cabin, dirtying her carpet. Naoki huffs, still holding the door open. “I’m trying to sleep in here — actually sleep. See if you can’t convince your new friend to accompany you back to the wine store, perchance?” The Wisp glanced up at the annoyed one. Her eyes were laden with sleep, he understood that much. Perchance a peace offering was to be in order. The lady had cat ears, and he knew what cats were, he had interacted with many. So if the lady had cat ears, the lady must also like fish. The blue little phantom deftly pulled out a salt encrusted package of dried fish, mostly cod but with a few other edible varieties that were less easier to identify. It was wrapped in seaweed and some form of handmade twine. Probably to protect it from growing peat moss, which wasn't quite as pleasant to indulge in.

Seeing the creature offer her something, Naoki takes it. The package smells vaguely of fish, and she scrumples her nose but smiles at it. It seems like it’s trying to make amends, and, sure, she supposes. If she barged into someone like her’s room in the middle of the night, she would try to make amends too.
Placing the package on a shelf, she again gestures at the door and moves back toward the bed. There’s a lot that needs doing tomorrow, and she needs to sleep.

The Wisp raises its hands happily and gives a gleeful noise that sounded like a yay. The measurement of success was quite odd for this creature, or mayhaps it was desiring different things then what the two people thought he was trying to achieve. The Wisp glanced up at Grandma and seemingly waited for her to walk out of the door first before following. It lightly hovered up to about chest level and then floated next to her examining her curiously with odd warbles.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Appearance: An elderly woman with a wiry frame who most notably possesses unnatural height, standing at well over seven feet tall even when hunched over her cane. Her nails are long, black, and sharpened at the tip.
---------------------------------------------------------
Equipment: She wears a deep purple robe that has sleeves that extend far beyond her hands. Her hands are covered with fine gloves of black silk and she wears one ring on each, one having a purple stone set in it and the other a piece of onyx. Carrying an ornate cane of orellium, Grandma can use it to increase her magical channeling as well as assist in deflecting others' spells with it. The cane itself is black and covered in numerous ornate, but tiny runes. The cap on the cane is a purplish-colored gem. On her wrist is a silver bracelet with a ruby in it that Grandma uses for communication with others who own similar bracelets.
---------------------------------------------------------
Skills and Abilities: Skilled at knitting!
-----------------------------------------------------------
Biography: While the details of Grandma's past are shrouded in mystery, since first meeting Naoki she has served essentially one role, that of advisor. While her titles have varied as Naoki moved up the social ladder of Isra, her continued support, and assistance she offered to Naoki have never wavered.
Even following the destruction of Isra, Grandma continues to follow and offer guidance to Lady Naoki as they attempt to rebuild from the wreckage.

Grandma let out a raspy chuckle as the Wisp drew a smile on its mask. Glancing down at the carpet, she made a mental note to see if the peat moss and salt would grow thicker if it stayed in one place. The interaction between Naoki and the Wisp seemed to amuse her slightly, judging by the look on the old woman’s face, but she didn’t say anything during it.
The poor creature didn’t know it had offered Naoki one of her least favorite foods.
“Yes, I shall show it out so you can get back to bed Naoki. You have a big day ahead of you tomorrow, after all.”
The Wisp seemed to understand the fact that they would be leaving now, so Grandma exited the room. Once the Wisp had followed her out, she quietly closed the door to Naoki’s room and turned to face the odd little creature.
“I don’t suppose you understand common?” Grandma asked, one eyebrow raised.

The Wisp stared up at her making "eyes" blink a few times to convey confusion. He quirked his head to the side lightly floating from side to side in a rhythmic motion that would certainly hypnotize anyone that looked too long, although if that was on purpose or not was completely unknown. He seemed to just be idling in the air. He looked from side to side, as if looking to make sure the coast was clear. He then moved up to a wall and stabbed the wall with his little spear. He slowly drew the knife across the wall...and it soon became very clear it wasn't the wall he was breaking. Glimmering white light wisped about from the cut as soon as it was Grandma sized he then pushed it open, ripping a hole in reality to some sort of otherworld.
The little fellow then warbled excitedly gesturing for the older lady to come with. His eyes brimming with excitement, like a child showing someone a toy...

“Yes, I suppose asking you to already know common would be too much,” Grandma murmured, the words directed at herself just as much as they were at the Wisp.
However, the next series of events was something the old woman hadn’t seen coming. Watching in amazement as the Wisp opened the portal, Grandma could hardly believe her eyes. She had already done some experimentation with portals and knew the mist made them unstable, but those were portals that were meant for traveling… Had she missed something key in her experiments?
While traveling through such a portal into god knows where was a dangerous venture, Grandma had a good feeling about this creature. He seemed to be of a curious nature and she of all people could understand being driven by curiosity.
“Well, you’ve piqued my interest now my little blue friend! Lead the way.”
Gesturing for the Wisp to take the lead, Grandma would follow it through the portal, curious to see what awaited her on the other side.

The Wisp warbled in glee and pulled on one of her hands to lead her inside his little home. Once they entered she found herself walking on smooth peat moss that covered the fairly large room. Coins, mugs, and salt encrusted chests of loot, plates, and other things found in shipwrecks littered the floor. The little fellow looked around excitedly warbling on and on in a little frenzy as if debating what to show his new friend first. There were many things...armor from Isran shipwrecks, gold from countries Grandma herself had known long past...it was quite the eerie collection for one who would have known what all these things had come from. Chances were there were probably a few magical items buried in the deluge of treasure.

Looking back and forth as she scanned the room, Grandma took in the numerous trinkets and treasure that filled it. So this creature was a collector of sorts it seemed. He certainly possessed a rather impressive collection, she had to give him that.
Following the Wisp around as he moved, Grandma took the time to lean down and inspect the various things he wished to show her. Leaning over, she picked up a gold coin and eyed it. This was from… Rondon, it seemed. Nodding to herself, she set the coin back where it had been laying.
“This is quite the impressive collection you have gathered here. I wonder how long it’s taken you to gather it?” Grandma was mainly just voicing her own thoughts out loud, as the age of this Wisp was a bit of a mystery to her. It couldn’t be but so young if it had gathered this much together, or was it simply that skilled at scavenging? She could also feel the presence of magic objects, but she wasn’t so rude as to go shuffling through the Wisp’s collection to see what they were.
“Here, take this and add it to your collection,” Grandma said as she reached into her robe. Pulling out a polished jade stone, she offered it to the Wisp with a friendly smile. While it didn’t seem to understand common, it did seem to understand body language.

The Wisp gave a small warble of aw as he gently picked up the jade stone. He rushed over to a pile of silver chains and slowly picked one out to which he pried out a gemstone out of a small bracelet and gently placed the jade stone into it. The little specter then slipped it over his neck and worbled happily. He then zipped over to another pile and picked up two things. One was a gold Isran coin with Naoki's face on it, and another was rose flower pendent. Each bit of the rose made up of ruby cut quite eloquently. He lifted the rose up as a gift, and then pointed to the coin with a confused expression buried in his eyes.

The Wisp seemed happy to receive the jade stone, even going so far as to place it in a bracelet to wear. “Mmm, the bracelet suits you well,” Grandma murmured, offering the Wisp a nod of acknowledgement that was accompanied by a slight smile.
“For me? Why, thank you very much. I have had a bit of a reduction in my jewelry selection given current events.” Deciding that putting it on would best show her appreciation, the old woman placed the pendant around her neck, offering the Wisp a very pointed grin as she did so. “A very beautiful gift indeed!”
Turning her attention away from the gifts, she looked at the coin he was pointing at and let out a good-natured chuckle. It was understandable that he would be confused by such a thing, after all, what was the chance one would meet the very person in the flesh that was on a coin they owned. Well, before the flooding it hadn’t been that unlikely an occurrence, but now…
“This is Naoki, the woman you just met who was trying to sleep. She was the Empress but is now just the Captain of this boat.” For now at least. Pointing at the face on the coin, Grandma then pointed back at the portal that lead back to the hallway of the Depravity. She didn’t know if the Wisp would understand her meaning, but for not understanding any common he seemed to pick up on things relatively quickly by pure… Intuition? She wasn’t entirely sure.

He gave a warble and nodded not understanding a word as he slipped the coin into his pouch and floated over. The specter's bits of salt floating to the moss and sediment laden ground. He looked up and warbled a long list of things that there would be no way to discern, but he was pointing at something deeper in his collection. It was a large chest, clearly a dead mimic that had died during the cataclysm, but inside it's maw were books. A large collection of them actually, seemingly made of leather, bone, and other such things wizards and druids would make their magic tomes out of. The little wisp seemingly was inquiring if she could read such things, or at least that's what was implied, for it was quite clear he could not.

Squinting as the Wisp pointed at the dead mimic and its contents, Grandma moved forward some more, close enough to make out the titles on the books. Using her cane, she opened one of the book’s covers with it, recognizing the text inside as elvish.
“You have quite the collection of tomes here. I suppose you simply like the look of them as you don’t strike me as the studious type.” Letting out a little laugh, Grandma began to read from the page of the opened tome.
The content of the text was rather dry in nature, but since the Wisp seemed to be wondering if she knew what it meant, she figured this was the easiest way to communicate that she did. She made sure to look directly at the text before speaking. Hopefully, the little creature would understand her meaning. After a minute or so of reading from the tome, she closed it back shut with her cane and turned to regard the Wisp once more.
“I wonder where you originally came from…” Grandma murmured with a look of mild curiosity on her face as she looked at the Wisp.

The Wisp quirked his head to the side as she spoke and looked at the text as she opened it. It was quite likely that he realized he wouldn't be able to study them without soiling them in salt and moss. When the book closed he retreated sadly shaking his head with a sad chortle. He looked up at the older lady, his body glowing dimly flickering about from side to side. The little fellow's look was almost one of admiration, but it wasn't quite clear of what.
