Age: 24
Appearance: A young, diminutive human with pale white hair and soft yellow eyes, donning simple robes befitting the life of a nomad. The robe's left sleeve has been ripped off completely, exposing runic tattoos along the length of their arm, and a fresh gash made by the claws of a monster. Though much of the rest of their skin is covered by their robes, the ends of more tattoos can be seen creeping along their neck and wrists.
Equipment: Their possessions are few in number - A gnarled wooden staff, a dagger, a leather pouch containing divining equipment, and the clothes on their back.
Skills and Abilities: Nomi is a Seer of their people before arriving in the Mists, and has limited capabilities in ways of divination. However, these talents are known by them to be unreliable at best - they prefer to rely on their wits in order to get by in the new world.

"I am... not sure." Nomi stared in awe at the atmosphere surrounding them. As their adrenaline started to fade, they began to feel the consequences of their exertion in full. On top of the fatigue, a sharp pain emanated from Nomi's now-bare upper arm, where blood was blossoming from a fresh gash left behind by mistborn claws.
And yet, the moisture of the current felt cool against their raw flesh, doing its part to ease the sting of the wound. Nomi exhaled weakly, their body relaxing into Khepri's. In their proximity, the seer could feel the beat of Khepri's heart, still racing from the strain of their escape.
"I do not feel as though this river means us harm," they said softly, still bewildered by the cascade that carried them. "And I doubt that we could fight it if we tried." The river was not wholly unlike the black mist that had hounded them before, but at the same time it the two could not have felt more different. This was magic in its purest form, free and untethered. Nomi didn't know how to describe it; they felt as though they could reach out and touch the soul of the island itself.
But as Nomi turned their head to face Khepri, something was... wrong. They could see threads of water intermingling against the edges of her form, flowing into one another until it was unclear where the river ended and Khepri began. She was fading before their eyes.
"What.. what is this?" Nomi gripped Khepri's arm, watching in dismay as her flesh turned to gossamer in their hands. "Khepri!"

Appearance: Smattered in golden feathers, Khepri glimmers from dawn to dusk. Vast, dark wings, lightening to ivory toward her spine, spread outward above her broad hips, supporting an otherwise petite frame. Black hair, straight as a waterfall, surrounds a round face. She has sharp, dangerous eyes that mimic the time of day, plump lips that tell you what you want to hear, and honey-sweet skin to ease her features. The only interruption to an otherwise heavenly visage is a pair of feet with toes and a heel ending in talons.

Khepri quirked a brow at Nomi, confused by their sudden panic. It wasn't until they grabbed her arm and watched it melt into the cosmos that was the river surrounding them did she scream. "Nomi!" She tried to grab the lapels to their collar, only to watch that, too, became wispy light, joining all around them. "What's happening now? I thought we were finally safe. I thought... I-"
Before she knew it, Nomi wasn't there anymore. She felt herself fall away from her body. Or was her body falling away from her spirit? She did not know. All she felt was terror at the unfamiliar feeling. She felt bare, not in the way that she wasn't wearing clothes, but in the way that she wasn't wearing her own skin. Even when she tried to curl up in a ball to comfort herself, she didn't have a body to do so with.
There was a coolness in the back of her mind, she noticed, that tried to comfort her. It was the same coolness of the water, but it was seeping into her soul, easing the dismay. It brought her mind's eye to a close, just as it had done to her physical ones.
And soon, the world was dark.

Nomi opened their mouth to call out again, but the sound that instead emerged was vast and distant, like an echo across a featureless void. They tried to reach out physically, but their arms failed them, the sensation of having a body being slowly stripped away. They were helpless, suspended in whatever state of being they existed in. And without any understanding of how, or why... Khepri was gone.
Even as they could feel their sense of self unraveling, their body dissolving in the torrent of magic around them, Nomi was numb. They formed one last conscious thought before the river's cool embrace reached out to grant solace to their tired mind: They were alone, again. All alone.
Nomi allowed their essence to bleed into that of the river, giving into soft surrender as reality faded away.
